Black IP jewelry

Black IP stands for "Black Ion Plating" which is a process commonly used on jewellery which coats the metal in a black stainless steel layer.

This is done both to make the piece of jewellery more fashionable and also as a means to protect the metal from scratches and stains.

Black PVD is a different process of black coating, even though the end result look is the same, the quality will not be the same as Black IP.

Piercedfish carries a wide selection of Black IP ranging from Tungsten to Titanium.
